Future of MGS?
Posted in uncategorized on 25/06/2010 by bookerleeWith MGS 4 being the ultimate conclusion of the series it does not mean that the series is gonna be put on halt as their are at least two metal gear games in development and one online component of MGS still in action:
MGO
MGS 3DS
MGS: Rising
MGO is still going Solid with good amounts of people still playing in prime time and their still content being supported. Players are still being monitored and being kick off the server for cheating which is good for us fair players out there.
MGS 3DS seems to be a re-imagining of MGS3 in 3D which im looking foward to seeing upon release and hopefully it will sell the amount it deserves unlike its PS2 release which did not sale very well.
MGS: Rising which is set between MGS2 and MGS4 starring Raiden has me excited as I will see the story unravel on how Raiden became the rookie of MGS2 to becoming a Ninja killing machine just like Gray ‘Frank Jaeger’ Fox. MGS Rising will be more action orientated with the emphasis of sword play and stealth which sounds great to me.
My hopes: Probably to see one more MGS on PSP starring big boss or solid snake and possibly a Metal Gear Remake on PSP/PS3. i would also like a MGS Ultimate HD collection and also to be able to download all MGS games to my PS3 Hardrive.

Solid Snake vs. Big Boss
Posted in uncategorized on 25/06/2010 by bookerleeMGS MGS3
MGS2 VS MGSPO
MGS4 MGSPW
Winner: Solid Snake
Unfair advantage to Solid Snake due to him having no portable games but as much as I love Big Boss, Solid Snake was always a hero and never lost his away. Solid Snake was always loyal to himself and relied on his own natural instincts. The Graveyard scene at the end of MGS4 is still one of the most surreal things that I have experienced and it would make my top 100.

MGO the MMO
Posted in uncategorized on 22/04/2010 by bookerleeMGO is more than just another online game it to me is like an MMO. Each Map is a portal to a different world Map where you would meet other players. With MGO having a close knit community makes it easy to be recognisable with players that you have met before. This close community makes it easy to make friends and enemies which keeps the games interesting. MGO has game modes such as Interval and Clan rooms where you could just meet up with players then you could chat and train while in-game. The game has many different type of game modes which just seems like completing a mission with modes such as Base, TSNE and Bomb. MGO is the online game where you have customisable control over your character making the way you personally prefer. MGO is based after the events of MGS4 so the Metal Gear Universe continues as long as MGO lives.
